i was going to post about tonight tomorrow, but... meh!
Ilana's recital so awwwwesome! best i've heard her play those songs. a couple of points:
- one of my favs was the baroque piece with harpsichord, cello, and lute.
- Johnny in leather pants?! nooooo...
- Gill didn't get her "talk" with Jerzy cuz he was drrrunk! lol jk
- reception afterwards was cool, tihs old man i've seen at the Penderecki Quartet Bartok concerts was there. he was like "hey Mandy! this is the third time i've seen you!" (i feel bad, i don't know his name.)
- hung around and talked to people before heading with Andrea, Laura, Etelka and Rod to Etelka's house
- walked to Huther's

HUTHER'S!
- lotsa people were there already when we got there. Yay Jerzy and Jeremy were there too.
- Ilana didn't come til afterwards. when she did we all cheered super loud. everyone there probably thought we were crazy
- Adam Biggs made this stupid (i think) comment about knowing the feeling all too well.. embarassed and stuff. pfft. show- off
- lots and lots of clinking glasses
- chats with Melissa and Justin about their trip to Italy this summer with Jerzy and Jeremy
- chats with Jeremy about my jury (intonation was good, but not rhythm. bah)
- more cheering and clinking glasses
- Katie got super drunk really early. being extra loud. Jeremy was sitting beside her and was nervous when she stood up to make that speech to Ilana about how we should clink to her. Jeremy was like "she was holding that beer up, i thought she was gonna spill it!" (or something like that, i don't remember exactly what he said)
- Andres walked her home. she got Jeremy to pay her bill. gave him a 20.
- chatted with Simon Fryer -- he's a pretty cool guy. quiet and conserved. and he drinks beer. it's so weird watching your profs hang out with everyone and *drinking*! gasp.
- chatted more with Jeremy-- about family, music and Mr. Lummy! (they know each other)
- people started leaving-- most wanted to go to this other bar/pub called Starlight or somethin...
- chatted a bit with Jeff (flute/piccolo guy who looks a lot like Colleen's bf, Jeff....)
- my chocolate milk, $1.50 bill, and Jeremy's hilarious surprised face
- i called foot patrol
- then i didn't wanna leave, but they were there already, so.. i went home.

soo much fun, mian. i love Huther's!
