sooo... last night was quite the night, i must say. melissa's grad recital was AWESOME. i'm so proud of her. awwww... excellent program and she memorized everything. the Wienewski concerto was unbelievable. i remember hearing it in masterclass and then the recording of when jerzy video taped it. it was so much better last night. the last piece on the program was one of my favourites, she played it in the concerto competition too. miiiaann... a great piece to end off of. and her dress was beautiful! she was like, floating! after the concert everyone was lining up to give her a hug. aww... naoko and laurissa even bought flowers! and laurissa bought a tomato...lol.. just in case. the reception afterwards was by far one of the best ever. it was fully catered, and the plates had holes in them to hold cups so you wouldn't have to hold them! genius! an hour later, justin, ruth and myself walked over to huether's but we were really early. the only people there were melissa's brother and some friends. people started showing up, and we all toasted melissa. it was great. good times fo sho.
anyways... toward the end, people started leaving, so justin and i chilled for a bit, and went home. i didn't really want to go to melissa's for the after-after party, cuz i wouldn't know how to get home. so.... yeah.

this morning was so fucked up. gawdddd....
warren and i had an almost 1 and a half hour long phone conversation. we always have weird convos, but i think today's was a bit over the top. it was still good though. anyway... i said to warren "so guess what happened last night?" and he immediately knew. i was like "whoa! wtf?! how do u know? ahh... you know me too well." hehehe. so that started an interesting convo in itself.
anywhoo....

oh yea... so last night at the huether, i was talking to james and justin, and we were talking about italy and quartetfest, and they told me how they're putting on their own recital, and i was complaining how i suck, and can never do it. and then james was like "no, you can! just put on your own recital! it's good performing experience too!"
so now, i 'm really thinking about it. i just told joanna (leung) about it, cuz she's a good friend who is like this amazing singer. :D yayyyyy.... i'm excited now! back to bach, mozart and beethoven! :) and i'm gonna ask jeremy if i can learn the bartok romanian dances, and if it's decent enough, then i can play that too. :) but nothing is for sure yet, so we'll see.

anywhoo..... well... that's enough of an update.
