HOLY HEART OF MARY!!!
i was just at sparknotes.com to see if i could find study guides to the Stone Angel, and lo and behold, they have study guides for HARRY POTTER!!! OH MY GAWD!!! it's amazing!!! they makes the simpliest books seem like one u read at school. (by the way, they don't have The Stone Angel. what a half crappy site. it's only half crappy cuz it does have HP) i just read the guide for the Chamber Of Secrets, and apparently, Lucius' name "echos" Lucifer the evil angel, and Lockhart is a real name meaning "locked heart", or secret identity. hahah Dumbledore is a bumblebee. and...yeah

*reading the Azkaban one*

ok here it says, Sirius Black means Black Dog (hmmm!! niiice!!) and...well this is what the page says about the ppl's names:

Sirius Black means, virtually, Black Dog; the name Remus Lupin has its origins in the Latin word wolf, and in a co-founder of Rome, Remus, who was suckled by a wolf. Take also, for example, Lucius Malfoy: the "mal" in numerous languages is rooted in the word "bad," and his first name, Lucius, is similar to Lucifer. Other names, like Dumbledore, have actual definitions—in this case, bumblebee in old English. One can liken this to Dumbledore, who is an ancient, wise wizard who works well and hard to sustain his community, the "hive" of Hogwarts. Professor Trelawney's first name is Sibyll, the ancient prophet of mythology. Furthermore, Padfoot, Moony, Wormtail, and Prongs all are indicative of the animal they represent.

omg, they have "suggested essay topic" for this. this is riddikulus!

How does the true appearance of the merpeople foreshadow the ending of the book?
What other greater struggles does Hermione's struggle for house-elf liberation parallel?

bahahah this is funnay!! iiiii wanna write an essay about Harry Potter too! lol!
