yeah, so i went to HSC today for my stupid excercise test. it was so tiring! i did up to 7 minutes and 15 seconds. it's not thaaaat bad, but i could;ve done better if i were in shape. oh well!! anyways, so after my check up, i talked to Andre (the secretary dude on my floor) and it was cool. he siad he just came back from a little vacation from nowhere. heh heh...just stayed at home and chilled. that's cool. it was nice seeing him, as i'll probably never see him again. (actually no, i'll see him once or two more times) yup. anyways, then i left the hospital, to head towards the subway station to meet Matt, but there was lots of time left so i just sat on one of the hospital benches outside, and read my book. i also saw this plaque thing about a guy named William Mustard, who had a famous heart surgury named after him. I've had that surgury done before. and the really cool thing was that he's born on the same day as me! whoop-de-doo!
anyways, so i met Matt, and we went back to HSC to eat lunch. i also showed him around a bit. we didn't go upstaires though, becuz i've already been there, and if i go back, ppl will be like "what are u doing still here??" so...yeah. anyways, after lunch we walked to the AGO. we didn't end up using the coupon after all becuz he got in as a student, and i got in as a youth. yay for fake ages!! we looked at this collection by a man named Tom Thomson. it wasn't very interesting, if you ask me. oh well. and then we went to the sculptures section, which held many pieces by Henry Moore. they were really nice, actually. (the huge piece outside the AGO is done by him) but at some points, we were really tired, so we just sat on those benches they have at the gallery for ppl to sit and admire the paintings. and so we sat down and admired the paintings. and sculptures. preeeetty! after getting lost a bit on the elevator and walking around in circles, we ended up in this room with lots of comfy benches and lots of interesting contemporary art books. so we plopped ourselves down, and started going through them. some of the books were really quite boring, but we found 2 (hahah 2.) that were interesting. they had many pictures of the male genetalia in an assortment of colours, amongst other interesting pieces of "art". but we soon got bored of it, and after many more circles and deadends, we decided to leave. although the whole ordeal wasn't as great and exciting as a thought it would be, i have to admit, it was still pretty fun. after AGO, we walked to the Eaton Center, where we did absolutely nothing. well, we ate something, and then headed back outside, where we found it was raining, so we walked in the rain to this little park thingy, and sat near this waterfall. Matt said the water from the waterfall was full of stuff we would find in a toilet after we've used them. hahaha yeess....narsty! it was all yellow and smelly, but we sat there talking for the longest time. lol! weird ppl walked near us too. there was this homeless man, who came and threw a penny in there backwards. apparently, it was supposed to be good luck. hmm....good luck in smelly toilet water? eww. a couple of ppl asked us if we had cigarettes. of course we said no. i mean, c'mon! and this "gangster" dude with an umbrella started poking the water with his umbrealla. ewwwwwww!! lol
anyways, after that we were really tired so we decided to just home. and we did. we met that homeless dude. he was so nice, i wanted to give him money. oh well...
and that's my day.
