so today i went to the mentors' meeting, and it was pretty fun. had lunch with carmen and shelby first tho. that was cool. carmen got a hair cut! she's so cute! heheheh! anyways, i'm mentoring for 1C, which is pretty cool, cuz i was 1C when i was grade 9 too. behehe carmen's in 1A. bleh. 1A?! what the heck? heheh anyways...so yea, we did some skits and made our signs (for registration day) and went home. linda was there too, and i talked to her about our "dinner" tonight, and i told her no one is coming. and she was really surprised and stuff, and we decided to cancel it, and instead maybe just go for coffee or something like that. *sigh* all my hard work wasted. so i went home and emailed mrs.rowe, hoping that she'd check it before leaving, and yay she did! so now we're meeting at Tim Hortons at 8. preeetty cool, huh?

anyways last night i was on the Tom Felton website, and i found out that the HP Prisoner of Azkaban movie's coming out in 2004! nooooo!! that's so long! they're gonna skip one year! this is terrible news....terrible i say!! *sigh* stupid movie making ppl...grrrr...except for Tom and Emma of course. heheh! and Sean Biggerstaff! *grin* anyways...

(music) and i'm planning to learn a page a week. by myself! heheh so proud! but i've had this music for a long time. but it's hard, so...there! heheh i'm doing the first page right now. it's pretty easy, since i've played it so many times before. (i've had this music for like, 4 years!) but near the end, it's really difficult. so...yea. well, good luck to me then.

so back to my depression. i've been feeling bad since the night of Cirque Du Soleil. i think it started with the letter to Pedro. i still have it, in my bag. i feel so bad about it. i've lost my only chance to even have a chance to meet him. does that make sense? arggg...and i was so close to too! i was gonna ask the cashier lady (cuz i was buying something) and then this other dude showed up behind her (another cashier) and i can't ask in front of two ppl! especially the other cashier, cuz he's hot, and he's a guy, and it doesn't work when u ask guys to give notes to other guys. sooo...yea.
and then there's my mother, who's always nagging me about stuff, and not letting me live my life. and there's my stupid brother who's always throwing rude remarks at me. "Are u stupid?!"..."Mandy, do you know anything?!"..."Oh my gaaawd."..."omg! Use your brain!"..."You're ugly! and dumb!" and tons other that i don't think i'm even gonna post. it's terrible, and it's incredibly discouraging. i know...y'all must be thinking i should just ignore him or whatever, but i can't. i just can't. he says them so much and so often now, that i'm starting to believe. and then i cry and wanna end my life. *sigh* and then there's the problem with my driving instructor, who is being a dumbass. and also other people who might think of me the same way as my brother thinks of me, and....just lots of stuff. i want school to start so i can take my mind of all that. ahh...one more week. i can't wait that long! but i guess i have to. argg...well, going to the mentors' meeting this thursday, that's in school. yay. i can't wait. i need to DO something!! or i'm gonna go crazy!! i think i'm already crazy.

so yesterday we went to lunch with gavin and kenric (these ppl who used to be in our old orchestra, but they moved to england) and then they came over to my house. and my dad helped me set up my lantern and disco ball and my mirror! yippee! my room's so pretty now! =) it's just a big mess though, cuz i haven't cleaned my room in so long. ah well.
anyways, im at the office again, and i am so addicted to icq that im downloading it on this computer too! =) even tho this comp's slow and crappy. oh well. it gets boring here too. but not as boring as home! ack! hehehe! anyways..err...i wanna go to Las Vegas! im in this Cirque Club thingy online, and i got them to email me the forums that ppl post, nad i was reading today's and one guy said that Mystere in LV is gonna be shut down! or move...or something like that, i don't remember the exact details. anyway, i wanna go before they move! they better not move!! but they said ther's gonna be one opening in NY city. that's pretty close to T.O so, that's good! well, my icq's almost done downloading, so post more latah!

i declare yesterday the best day of summer! not only did i go to cirque du soleil, i also went to ikea! omg it's the best store ever!!!! and i got my lantern, finally, and i also got a full length mirror. yay! it's wavy, so it's good, cuz it matches my room. (water theme, y'know...) anyways...so last night i wnet the CDS, and i was sooooo excited i couldn't even stand still! my parents were all weird and stuff and said i looked stupid. so that got me down a bit. the show was incredible! omg! anton is fucking hot! ahh!! and so are the hot twins! ahhhhh!!!! but they did some minor adjustments in the show. they didn't have this one dance, but insead they had this juggler. but that's alright with me. i looooved the juggler! he was sooo good! and the fast-paced acts were sooo energetic! holyy...and i loved the music. well, i loved the music ever since the first time i saw it, but still! it's different whne u see them a second time. u know what's coming so u can concentrate on the details. the first time, you might forget the details and remember the show vaguely. so...yea. and since april i did a lot of research on them and stuff, so it's different when i watch them perform. in a whole new light! hehehe! and yes, i did write to the hot twin, but i never gave it to an usher to give it to him. i never found the right time to ask, and it felt weird to just go up to one of them and tell them to deliver a note. so i'm a bit dissapointed. actually, more than a little bit. there's this funny feeling inside me right now (since last night whne we came back) that there's something not right, and...augh. i dunno how to explain it. it's weird. like, i have to fix something. *sigh* anyways...i don't think he'd call me anyway.
ahh...i wish i were in boston RIGHT NOW so i can watch Quidam. stupid parents...won't even let me go to Boston. *grumble* oh well...

well, im home again, and my computer's being weird on me. like, my icq would suddenly shut down on it's own and close. so i have to start it up all over again. and then there's my background for my desktop. it keeps going back to the condo pictures. not that i don't like it, because i like that picture very much, but i used another picture! and it, like, disappeared. *shrug* oh well. so..yea, i was talking to my mom this afternoon at the office and i told her no one could come to CNE with me and i really wanted to go to Polish Day, and she's like "ahh don't go! who cares it's not even good! there's not much to see." so...i guess i'm not going. bahh...well there's always next year, i guess.

ok i was just gonna say that two nights ago, gabriel (yes, gabriel, the yelling meanie ex-violin teacher) called! well, actually, he called bernard first, to ask him to come back to orchestra! well, bernard wasn't there at the time, so his mom talked to him. well, i think she kinda yelled at him. anywhoo, after that, bernard's mom (amy) called us to tell us that gabriel called her, and warned us that he might call us too. so...yea, he called. i wasn't as surprised as i would've been. i was like "yea, do u want to talk with my parents?" and he's like "no, i want to talk with you." inwardly, i was like "ah shit." lol so...yea, he wants me to come back to orchestra, and yes, he did tempt me (or, tried to tempt me) with money. i said i'll think about it (just so i could be nice) and...yea. he said i had to practise a lot and blah blah blah....i was sorta tuning him out...u know...oh well. after i hung up, i did actually think about going back, just for the concert, cuz i miss ppl there, like...oh...devin, and anton, and...ppl. anyways. today, i found out that bernard's not going to go back, so, i don't think i will go back either. and besides, gabriel might sound nice over the phone, but i know that once i'm back there, it's gonna be hell again. so....no! hehehehe

i was gonna post yesterday, but blogger wasn't letting me publish, so...yea
so i went downtown on wednesday with carmen kate and jordan, they were all allowed to sleep over. we had a really good time--rolling around, cracking jokes, tee hee hee-ing (*gasp!* a boy! tee hee hee!!) but then we went back to scarbro to get towels and camera and a board game so we won't get bored. we also went to get a frozen lasagna for dinner. then we went back, cooked the lasagna, had salad (by that time, it was like, 8pm) so we finished and went to the village, got ice cream, walked around more and came back home. well, there's more to the story, but...meh. i dun feel like typing it all out. it was so funny cuz when we tried to sleep, we couldn't, and we kept rotating (we were in a circle) bahaha carmen went from her bed, to the other side of the room! tsktsk...heheh and everyone kept moving and stuff and carmen was complaining how she was soooo restless and hot. and then suddenly it was like, *thunk* and everyone fell asleep. lol it was so sudden, it was freaky. heheh the last word said before we all dozed off was testicle. lol guess who said that? hehehehe the next morning, we rolled around more (carmen the human sausage behe) and cleaned up. omg it was soooo much work cuz we made the place pretty messy. at one point, these two men showed up at the door asking about renting, and i told them not until friday, and they left. so...yea, after we cleaned up, we had to decide what to do with the leftover lasagna, cuz none of us wanted to take it home. so we had 5 pices of serviettes, right? so we cut the lasagna into 5 pieces, nuked it, put it on the serviettes, and went out and gave the lasagna away to the homeless ppl. =) it was cool. one guy sorta looked at it and said "no thanks". what a bum. but when we had two pieces left, we were reeaaallly tired, and hot, and even more tired, and didn't know how to get home, so we stood in the shade, where two guys were selling hemp, and they asked us if we wanted to but, and we were like, "no", and they said if we could spare some change, and i said, "no, but do u want some lasagna?" they were like, "omg yes!" and carmen rushed over to them and practically shoved it in their arms. lol it was so funny cuz we were trying to get rid of it and stuff. heheh then we went back to the condo (thank god for the cn tower!) and took our stuff, and left. jordan's dad couldn't lend us the car long enough for him to drop us all off at home, so we just went our separate ways from the stc bus stop. i came home, and almost collapsed, i was sooo tired. *sigh* needless to say, i took a nap, til dinner time. heheheh stupid dinner, made me get up...grrr...anyways, that's it, i'll try to post a picture or something on this.

i was just going over my calendar, and damn, i'm pretty busy. plannning another trip downtown for 3 days, hopefully...err..tomorrow. lol. it's soooo last minute, but if jordan and whoever else and i plan to go to CNE, then i think we really do have to go downtown this week! kate better be able to come! and then we'll sneak jordan in too. hahah it's gonna be soooo much fun! and--omg, Cirque du Soleil's next saturday! omg time is going really fast! hmmm...i'm still deciding whether i should write to the hot twin or not...bah! who cares!
and i still have't been able to find out whether andrew goes to campbell or not. timmy said he'll ask his campbell friends if they know him for me. and i called sarah to find out about lindsay, and now i got her email, but her freakin inbox is full and i can't send her the invitation!! argggg!! this is really really frustrating! and i've still got a ton of ppl i have to contact!
argg...anyways, enough ranting for one day.

i'm borrred. only georgina replied to my invitation. well, actually, her mom did. ha! she can't come cuz she has this wedding thing on the same day. grr....oh well. and i haven't gotten anyone else's emails yet. ahhh this is harder than i thought it would be!

i was gonna post last night....but i was busy, sooo...
anyways! i absolutely have to blog about last night! so i called jordan about going out for coffee (or tea or whatever the hell we want) with kate and nique, but nique couldn't come. so then jordan and kate came to pick me up, and off we went to Plantations. it was cool, cuz i've never been there before. It had lots of pretty decorations and comfy chairs. =) so then we were ordering and talking and stuff. it was so funny cuz we were talking about kate and how she broke up with her bf, and now she's just fucking around with any boy that comes around. lol! we also talked about jordan and....other ppl...heh..and me and adam. blehh...but we turned that into a joke too, which was pretty funny. so...yea, we ordered, blahblahblah...and at one point the waiter dude whispered something to jordan, and i thought the guy just recognized him, cuz he came so many times before, but i later found out that was not what it was. and then after a little while the guy comes and bring this incredibly nice looking piece of cake! (chocolate too, mind you heh heh) and there was this pink candle on it! at first i seriously thought it was kate's snack thing she ordered, and then she (including the waiter) started singing! omg, i was SOOOOOO surprised! i was awestruck! astonished! amazed! (err...looking through thesaurus) completely and utterly shocked! no one ever did anything like this for me before! *with tears in my eyes* (well, last night, not now, lol) it was incredible. they were like "sorry it's late but..." i didn't care! omg it was the bestest birthday present i ever got since the zheng (15th)! omg, and it was delicious! mmm....SO GOOD!! but i just had dinner beforehand, so i packed up the rest and took it home. and now, i'm eating it as i type. =) mmm.....chocalate...oh! and i kept the little candle too! i'll keep it forevah! anyways, after we paid (and left a big tip, since the waiter did sing...) we went out driving. haha we went on the highway...was so funny cuz kate didn't have her seatbelt on (on purpose) and she was like, sliding around. (leather seat, y'know...) heheh anyways, then we drove home and walked around my neighbourhood, and then i went home.
called linda and made plans about the reunion dinner, finished typing up the invitation letter, and sent some of them off. eventful, huh? anyways...that's pretty much it for now. didn't do much today cept for art class (finally!!) and stupid driving insurance lessons. grr...so...blog more latah!!

Signs. it was good. well, it wasn't incredibly good, but good. kinda freaky. well, not kinda. it was. aaaanyways. yeahh...after we went (well, he did) to visit his friend from Bluenotes. and then we were kinda just talking and stuff. it was really weird, cuz my mind was totally blank. i was just like "uh huh...ohhh..." anyways...i was a terrible wreck. butterflies in my tummy and everything.

i went to eaton center with carmen! omg it was so much funn!! we'll have to go again sometime soon. =) *ahhh* what a beautiful day it was today. and it's gonna be beautiful tomorrow too! YAYY!! well, yay for me and sarah (cresswell) cuz today's her birthday! (and tomorrow's mine's) and we have lovely weathers on our birthdays. *beams*
aaaaanyways, as i was saying before, shopping was fun! carmen got so much stuff! hahah! and i got this...black see-thru shirt to go with....something. lol. i just thought it looked pretty, and carmen said it looked nice on me. so...=) and then we came across this body piercing place, and so we went in, and started asking about prices and stuff. and the guy was like "yea, i do 20-25 pirecings a day, and it doesn't hurt!" but he doesn't use a gun, so both we actually do think it'll hurt. so me and carmen were walking around the store, thinking, and the guy's like "i'll give u a special offer!" and the offer was, for the piercing carmen wanted, he'll deduct 10$, and no tax, which was actually pretty good! but she didn't do it, cuz her mom would probably freak out. heh heh...and me...well, i'll wait til i'm 18, so my own mother can't protest. =) anyways, we started talking about the spikes for lip rings and we were saying that when i get my lip ring, i'll get a really sharp spike, and then start kissing ppl and stabbing them! lol it was halarious! kiss me NOW!! LOL! and we were like, if i kiss some guy's eye, i'd probably stab his eye out! hahahaha!! omg....that's funnay! i'm laughing right now just thinking about it!

anyways, i went to visit Audrey the past weekend in Annapolis. it was really fun. omg their house is so nice! it's like, in a rural neighbourhood, out in the country, with tons of insects. ack! i got bitten 11 times!! omgg....but i guess it was worth it. on saturday, we (without Audrey, Larry and Cassia) went to washington DC, which is about 45 minutes drive, and went to the national museum of natural history, and the art gallery. i liked the art gallery more. heh heh...that's probably cuz i've been to the natural history museum before. anyways...the art gallery was so cool! it was humungous! there was a separate builing for the modern art. omg, there was this one piece, which was made completely from ashes, burnt canvas, aluminum sheets, and other black, dark stuff. omg it was soooo beautiful! i took a picture of it. =) apparently, we were allowed to take pictures in the modern art section. heh heh...anyways, after the art gallery, we went to eat dinner at this really cool mexican restaurant called Chevy's. and then we went home. on sunday, we slept in, and then all of us went to the Naval Academy, where Larry works. it was cool cuz he knew so much about it. and then we went to this little town in Annapolis, right near the academy. it was so pretty! it's like one of those old fashioned towns with the little shops and stuff! we passed by this pottery shop, and omg, they had a nicest things in there! sooo pretty! and then i got my poscards, and then we walked to this italian restaurant where they made homemade ice cream. gelatos, Audrey said they were called. anyways, i had pinapple ice cream, it was soooo good!! omg if i go to annapolis again, i have to go there again! anyways, we were all sitting and talking and taking pictures of Cassia. hehehe poor Cassia, she couldn't sleep all day! anyways, afterwards, we went to this park to walk a little, and we came to this small beach, and it's called the dog beach, becuz..well...dogs go there! i've never seen anything like it! there must've been like, 15 dogs (with owners) all splashing around in the water! quite a sight...=) and then we headed back home. had a nice swim in thier swimming pool, had a nice dinner, and talked through most of the night. it was very relaxing, although most of the things we talked about weren't so nice...oh well. Audrey eats a lot of healthy stuff, and one of the snacks she told me about was plain yogurt and fruit. it was really good! well...actually, the yogurt was kinda sour, but i'll get used to it. i'm so used to eating yogurt from those little containers with lots of sugar in it. mehh...anyways, that night we were sooo upset cuz Cassia kept crying! well, not constantly, but...uh...three times. actual crying, with tears! i swear, i have NEVER seen her cry before, cuz she's such a good girl, and then three times in a day! poor baby! well, she was really tired. hasn't slept all day...*sigh* oh well...

anyways, got postcard from shelby and yuen today! that makes it a total of 5! i know one more's on the way, from maryam. yayy!! and tomorrow, going to Eaton Center with Carmen! =) x10000
