today's pete's birthday. pete is the chef at the rude native. i guess im not gonna go to his party, because last night i was at dave's house (dave is a server) and i told him i'd call him before i went but he isn't picking up his phone. so... meh! no big deal. last night at dave's was actually fun, even though we didn't do anything in particular except drink south african wine and look at photos. ryan drove the three of us after work, cuz work was le tiring. but we got a free shot of something yummy. :) and tim louis played! yay. anywhoo... ryan left after his smoke and after chatting for a bit after he left, i cabbed home.

i really want to write a review for HBP, but i finished that book so friggin long ago that it doesn't seem important anymore. and besides i want to read other people's reviews first. and i can't find any. (*hint* Mar-bear *hint*) i've started reading it the second time, but i can't really get any further because to be honest, i dont want to go through all that horror again. it's way too stressful and intense. so i'll give it a couple weeks. in the meantime, i should continue reading the book my roommate lent me. i'm on the second book of the series, and the beginning is really really boring. oh well...

Anyway, the american idol concert was fuckin AWESOME. everyone was soooo good. <3 MIRACLE BOY! <3 tee hee! he was hot! constantine was sexay! and he sang bohemian rhapsody! i love consty's version of it. so fucking good! scott sang a duet with jessica sierra, and that was surprisingly really really well done! but scott's own solos suck. i hate him. nadia was good. she had energy, but everyone did. miracle boy actually SANG well! i know... lol
ok, bo bice was fuckin awesome. his tattoo was fully revealed. ahhhh so sexay! lol... i was kinda disappointed that he didn't sing his a capella piece. that would've brought tears to my eyes. ah well. carrie was good. but all she sang were country songs. she even talked with a twangy accent. ugh... she pisses me off. all in all though, i had an awesome time, and i met some really nice people. it was unfortunate that dan (kip) and ruth couldn't come with me. ah well.

anyway... dave actually just called me back, and i'm going to pete's tonight. yiay! as much as schizophrenia excites me, i need a break from studying.
