i finished OotP last night-- so good! i wanna read the 6th book now, just so i know what happens next, how many OWLs everyone got, and so forth. argh! the suspense is killing me! i think i'm going to do some DV reading this afternoon, i seriously haven't read DV in sooo long! i can't remember what happened... i'm sure i passed the part where Harry and Ginny and Malfoy comes out of this cave thingy and is saved by some flying animal... probably a hippogriff. meh. lol
Mar wrote in her blog a while ago about if fanfic were actual pages, how long they'd be, and i wonder how long the whole Draco trilogy would be. bout 200 pages perhaps? i'm only just estimating. i sorta wanna print it all out and make a book out of it so i can read it without going on the computer all the time. but i don't think that would be possible....well, it would, but it'll just take a really really long time. anyways, yeah... i wanna see PoA NOW! lol argh....june is SO far awayyyyy!

i went to see LotR with Matt today. it was pretty good, although the ending could be shorter. we bumped into Mark and May while walking to Fairweather. it wasn't too good a day, since stuff happened last night and a certain phone call pissed me the fuck off. anywhoo, umm... after that, i went home cooked myself up some chicken nuggets and OJ, and sat down to do a good bit of reading. i'm almost done. i read probably more than 200 pages today. geezes. i STILL refuse to believe he died. nope. He is not dead. (Mar, any good fanfics of ____ alive and well?) anyways, i think i'm going to try to finish the book tonight. and i will have to spend time thinking it through again. ahhhh...
anywhoo... mike isn't very talkative, is he? (Jang) anyway, i've just ranted to him. all tihs typing and he's like "well...that's kinda mean... my gf and i broke up."

-got to stc
-drove...or rather, wait in line, for a parking space for like, almost half an hour
-went in, dodged lots of people
-headache due to huge amounts of people and confusion of how to get out of wal-mart
-went in Le Chateau, looked around
-banged my head on a corner while looking at some shirt's price tag. i didn't see it there
-got a nice red glittery shirt at Le Chateau for $5, it was a little damaged, but it's nothing a needle and thread won't fix
- went in Fairweather, got 3 sweaters and a black glittery coller shirt, which i'm wearing right now. it's pretty!
-went home, got laughed my by my brother because of my head
-apparently i now have a dent on my forhead. it hurts!! =(

-party at my teacher's place was fun
-too many kids, al loud
-another headache!
-timothy banged a table against eugenie's head, cause she was hiding under it
-painting dead fishes and hanging them on a wall, as an art contest

with the exception of yesterday, i think this christmas has been satisfying. i got good presents (except for the one my cousin gave me. it's like some log shaped cup with a pig for a handle. quite fobbish) and dinner was pretty good. my brother, and andrew, a son of my mom's friend, and i watched World Idol and laughed at the German guy, the Australian guy, and a couple others. i also voted! it was fun! i voted for the Arabian girl and the Belgium guy. a couple of the contestants were quite good looking chaps, i must say! something like Westlife, if you know what i mean. heh heh heh!! (Yuen, Dil, you know what i'm talking about. rrr!) anyways, yes....but they weren't very good singers so poo to them. umm... what else? oh yea! the Polish judge was a fhacking IDIOT, and when the Polish girl finished singing, she and the Polish judge started talking in Polish, and nobody understood what the heck they were saying! the only good thing that came out of that was that the Polish judge had good things to say to the Polish girl, but the Polish girl knew he was being an ass to everyone else and said to the Polish judge "I hate you!". that was hilarious!

anyways, boxing day shopping tomorrow! YESS!!! i'm so excited! and then a party at my art teacher's house! yay little kids! i'm excited! alright...sleep time!

when will this drearyness end? i sometimes wish i were back at Waterloo. at least i'd have my own rules. it's freezing in here. and a bit too quiet.
i've gone through quite a bit of The Order of the Phoenix between last night and this morning. it's a bit boring. i hate Sirius' mother. if anyone agrees with me, put up your hand.

i went to kevin's place last night to hang out. when i got there it was only owen and i. and vee of course. then sarah came. it was FUN! sorta.. we sat there and talked and watched tv and talked to margaret on msn. something i realized last night: i am horrible and parallel parking. i had to move my car so that kevin's parents could come home. and well, it took me like 10, 15 minutes. then i saw owen peering out the window. unexpected, i tell ya.
anyways, more people arrived, but then i had to leave at 12, so yeah. that's about it for that.

mike rollerbladed over today so we could give each other our gifts. i think that was the highlight of the day. other stuff i've been doing: reading HP5, watching tv, and reading a couple pages from my psych textbook. oh, and walking around aimlessly in my house. i wanna give francine a call, see what she's doing, but it's Christmas Eve, so...maybe not. i don't think this christmas will be very festive. it doesn't even feel like christmas. i'm looking foreward to boxing day though. can't wait to see the kids.

hellloooo there! i haven't written mainly because i didn't feel like it, but now i am just so bored, i guess i'll write.
friday was so much fun! i went to aci's christmas variety show, saw sooo many people there! (i meant, like people i graduated with) like...kamla, and jackie, and rachel, jen, payal, lydia, pat, jackie (siu), ryan, adam (smits and bennett), jeff, james...ya know... anyways, the show was pretty hype esp. Matty's solo, the teacher band, and Owen's dance. fun fun!! after the show i just hung out with Mike, Matty, Jackie, Kamla and Adam, talking about dinner and stuff. it was fun. Emilia found out about dinner and was pissed off when i didn't invite her. and all i gots to say about that is....meh.
then i went home and got ready for dinner! left at about 6:15, picked everyone up (matt, marg, kamla and jackie) then headed down to Acceso. it was a pretty little restaurant...kinda quaint, if u know what i mean. anyway, Alishia came!!! YAAYYY!! i was so happy! she was supposed to go to her cousin's birthday party, but she came to our dinner instead! i was honoured. Ronell was kinda silly, he wouldn't take off his toque. Carmen had on a pretty halter dress, and Kate had on some nice black and white striped skirt. we all ordered pasta 'cept for Matty and Ronell who ordered pizza. my pasta was yuummmmm-mmyyy!! mm..shrimps!! but it also had olives in it, so that was yuck. desserts were kind of expensive so Mike and I shared a chocolate fudgecake. it was delish! with strawberries and blueberries and syrup! yum yum haop haop!! hahaha! when we paid the bill we all went to the bar place and lined up and the waiter printed out separate bills for all (14) of us. it was quite a sight! i think he was glad we left, we were pretty loud. oh well!! hahaha!! we hung out a couple minutes outside, then went home. i hung out at Matty's place for a bit, cuz i didn't want to go home (do i ever?), so yea... i went there, then i went home at midnight. i passed by a cop who stopped every car that passed by and gave out this litte safety booklet. i was kinda rushing to get home, cuz i was gonna be late for curfew, and the police officer was like "whoa, slow down there! you're scaring me!" adn i apologized, then he took off his hat, leaned on my window and said in this serious voice "did you have anything to drink tonight ma'am?" and i was like "no! no! i promise!" then he handed me this little booklet, and i stepped on the gas a bit, then he was like "whoa! i'm not done!" and i was like "sorry sorry!!" then he casually handed me this other little booklet, then was told me good night and i left. anyways, i went past curfew about 7 minutes. damn police. ah well. it was quite an interesting night. lots of fun!! dinner should now be a yearly thing! tee hee

i went to Matt's place this afternoon to hang out, watch movies. it was fuuun. i bought popcorn. we were gonna watch The Sound of Music, but Matty got so freakin bored and never settled down that i finally let him watch the Nightmare Before Christmas instead. it was alright. his dad came home soon after and we started talking about all these nice cars, then some business stuff i didn't really understand. meh. i tried. then i went home and found out that my cousin and her bf are coming for dinner (they're here already). that got me pissed off! let me tell you. i hate Kenny. seriously, i do. im not gonna post my reasons because y'all won't know what the heck i'm talking about, so...yeah. anyway, Mike Leung is coming over tomorrow so i can give him his Christmas/Get well present. i'm gonna miss him at Laurier. even though i don't often see him around campus anyways, but that's not the point!

i actually don't think i am gonna fail tihs theory exam. i need better than a pass though. hmm...still working on it. actually...i haven't really worked on theory since 4 this afternoon. hey, at least i now have more hot chocolate mix! along with two sweaters, a brush, and a stick of lipstick (hey, gotta get ready for dinner tihs friday!). i'm listening to my mix cd (currently at LP's Papercut), and about to start seriously concentrating on reading tihs friggin article on Johnny Get Angry. i honestly work better at night. it's hard to concentrate during the day. hahaha i'm nocturnal! well....not quite, but u know what i mean. i also got all my christmas cards written, so i'll be able to distribute them tomorrow. yippee! alright, anyways, i am gonna start reading. toodle-oo!

holy crappp..what an interesting weekend!!
well firt of all let me post about the String party at Jerzy's: it was sooo much fun! Jeremy drove me, and about a dozen more people. Jerzy's house is really nice! not too big, but really cozy. his two kids (Gregory,11, and Gabriel,9) were sooo cute! hahah. dinner was delicious-Christine's salad was amazing! Dessert was ice cream, my cake, and a chocolate truffle. yum! people started leaving, but were was a bunch of us who stayed til the end. we all crowded in the small cozy living room, dimmed, with a real fire in the fireplace and lots of Christmas lights, drinking tea and watching a violin DVD. me got sleepy! hahaha we eventually left, all piled in Lucas' van, with Adam (cello man) driving cuz Lucas was drunk. hehe. yup! anyways, saturday comes, and around 1:45pm, i called matty. we talked, and eventually made plan for me to come to Toronto. it wet something like this at the end: "okay, wanna come?"

hahah it was so weird. i can't believe i pulled the whole thing off! anyways, i was gonna go back home on sunday, but it was snowing so damn hard, i didn't want to go back with the weather so bad, so i stayed another night. muahaha we didn't really do anything, in general. spent lots of time fixing their printer. we went to Agincourt Mall to do some shopping too. fun! it was freezing that day, and walking to Agincourt Mall was not fun! but i bought mittens! YAY! lol they were warm!
anyways this morning, Matty was supposed to go to school, but we really didn't feel like getting up...soooo. yea. yay more sleep! we eventually got up at 11. lol walked to Midtown for lunch then he went to school and i went on the bus. got SO damn frustrated when i got to Union, becuz Matt said there was a sign that led straight to the bus terminal, but there WASN'T!!!! ARGHHH!!!! i walked around the friggin mall for an hour! *exasperated sigh* was close to tears! i finally decided to just take the bus to Dundas. yeayea...anyways, i FINALLY get to the bus terminal, but i guess i missed the last bus by a bit, and the next one the an hour away, so i had to wait an hour to get on the bus. so frustrated1 but yea, i'm back, finally! i got in at about 5:30. and then i called home. hahaha still safe!! i am GOOD (scandalous!)!! lol geez. i have to start studying for theory soon...exam on wednesday! AHHH!!! oh well. anyways, that's about it for this post. crazy crazy weekend!!!

it has been one disappointing night.
more disappointing is the fact that i forgot to buy potoatos (frances). well, at least i got my grocery shopping done.

i can't believe i still haven't started practising. it's almost 11:30. yay for wasting time! i guess...
i fuckin hate staying home, by myself or with other people. argh, can't wait to get back to Waterloo tomorrow. it may be small and rural, but life is better there than this hellhole here in scarb.
anywhoo, since i'm not gonna get any practising done this morning i guess i will go back to reading HP. i'll post again later...if i think of something to post about.

blahblahblah.... my mom suggested that i stay in waterloo after my technique exam instead of coming out again. at first i was like "no, too bad." but now i'm having second thoughts. i mean...do i really want to stay and listen to nagging every moment i see her? do i really want to seem upset and distraught in front of my friends, and other people? do i really want to have to ask before i go anywhere? not really.

i had a reltively good weekend. saturday, went to art class, shopping at Woodside, then going to Matt's new apartment, going to STC. all that jazz. it was so fun. Matt's place is preeeetty. except the balcony. it's kinda dirty. Sunday, i went to violin lessons with Mr.Fan, then more shopping with my parents. i bought a skirt at Jacob's. it's brown and pretty! but i took it to some lady to get it altered cuz it's kinda big for me. it'll be ready by the 17th (i can wear it to the Christmas dinner!) went home, did some practising, set up the Christmas tree. this morning i woke up, hung around the house, pratised a bit of violin then headed to ACI. i was so anxious to get there and see everyone. i met some gr.9 girls, and most of them were pretty cool. during the periods after lunch me, and Eric just sat on the benches listening to MP3's on his brand spankin new cd player. listenened to almost all the LP songs and its remixes (!!) and some Billy Talent songs (mehhhh...they're alright). after school i was so excited cuz Matty's outta class! finallllyyyy. but after a bit, evreyone was around and it was crowded, and matty kinda left to hang out with ramy. feeling like a friggin outcast, i went into the orchestra rehersal and helped Amanda (okay, i don't remember her last name....Ms...something...) tune violins and stuff. it was probably about 20 minutes after when most of the people in the halls left, and Mike Eric and Matt stuck thier head in to see what the heck i was doing. i tried shaking my fist at them but at that moment this girl came up to me asking to tune her violin. she also said "hey Mandy...do you remember me?" i kinda looked at her for a while, then i was like "...Monica?" and she was like "yeah!" anyways, Monica is this little girl i used to play with in elementary school, in like, grade 6. i knew she'd be at ACI this year but i never thought i'd see her again in orchestra, of all places. tee hee she's so little! like me! so cute! anyways, after tuning, i left. went back in the halls, got mad at Matty, then got over it, then just hung out with him and Eric and Mike til like 4:45. then went over to Mike's locker where we hung out some more. then we went to the bus stop. if i got home 5 minutes earlier, i would not have been caught. but fuck, i was just THIIIS close to home, when my mom also got home..in her car, so she was faster than me and saw me walking ohme. i got another lecture. see? this is why i don't want to come back. anyways, so yea...i got tihs huge ass lecture again and whatever. perfect for my mood.

anyways, i listened to the whole WLU concert (in October) cd again. (except the middle two songs). it was awesome, but Beethoven's 5th was way too long in the middle, i almost fell asleep. the first movement was great though. it felt like i was playing again. i was so into the music. bahahaha

ok enought stupidness. i'm going back to ACI tomorrow, for a bit, then another lesson. *sigh*

just as Fran would say "WOOOOOOWWW!!" and Joanna "WHHHOOAA!" my history exam is FINALLY done! this has definately been the longest week ever! i have been studying ALL week. tuesday and wednesday were, i think, the most instense two days i've ever had, regarding to school. i've never been so fond of the serenity and peacefulness and quiet in my library. i have also discovered my favorite floor to work on! (i'm such a nerd) it is the 4th floor cubbies by the right side wall after u get out of the elevators. yesterday, i stayed there 5 hours non-stop. the kitchen at my rez is also a great place to work, when allison mel and joanna are quiet. tuesday, i worked 4 and a half hours (approx.) non-stop, taking notes. and it was great. until evening came and my roommates got all loud and siht. i was SOOOOO pissed off, cuz i actually really wanted to work. like, holy fuck!! anyways, then i called matty, and we had to sort some stuff out and then i got so tired, i couldn't take anymore notes. i was so pissed off about that, because i planned to do all my notes that day, then do my two prepared essays yesterday, then study everything today. but nooooo. and yes, i did shed tears...throughout the day. that was how stressed and upset i was. the next day, which was yesterday, i got up, ate a bit, had lunch with steve, Ian and his friend from his building, then went to the bookstore to look around with Steve, then at 1, headed to the library and buckled down to work. i did not stop til 6!! 5 full hours of intense note taking! and i didn't even finish. i had one chapter left to do, but i really had to start my prepared essays. i went back to my rez first though, and celebrated (sorta) allison's birthday. then i went back to the library at 7:30 to start my essay. didn't get much done. called Francine for help. she invited me over to do work with all of them (yay music girlies at Conrad!) so i went there...wasted so much time waiting for them to pick me up. i was really focused at working, and definately did not want to waste precious minutes standing around. anyways, the only good thing that got out of the whole night was that Amy explained to me what the first essay wanted us to write. that was about it. i basically wasted a whole night. i was so mad. i was literally on the EDGE. i was SO stressed out. i talked to matty on the phone for about an hour. more tears, more mean stuff said (mostly on my part), and more tissues, and still no work done. got off the phone, and me and Francine worked tilll...no joke, past 4am!!yeah....anyways, this morning Liz came into our room at 8:30 am to wake us up, and Francine told her that we went to bed at 4, so just take her notes and leave. she did. i went back to sleep. woke up again at 9, started reading off my people index cards. didn't get too far when i fell asleep again. woke up at ten. actually got up, dressed went back to my rez, took a nice long shower, then started my essay. i was going to go to the library, but i decided against it, cuz that will waste time. so i did my essay outlines, then headed to the library to take notes. 4pm: i headed to the dining hall, cuz i thought everyone was studying there, but the only ppeople there were katie, Liz James and Brendon. so i ate lunch (first thing i ate the whole day except for two pieces of toast...so hungeee!) then wnet back to library, but couldn't study anymore. i was all studied out. my head hurt like a bitch, and i was seriously getting sleepy. had an hour left to kill....decided to go back to dining hall, but saw Warren studying in the Concourse so i just stayed there with him and his friends (who were studying business) and read read my notes. then steve and that girl i always talk to in theory (i feel bad...i dont know her name). we walked to the T.A together and waited til exam. it was nerve-wracking! anyways, when we got our exam, we found out that only only were there the two prepared essays, there was a THIRD one! HOLY HANNAH!!! anyways, i know i did better in this exam than i did the midterm. there were some tough matching questions which i just guessed, but a large part of it, i knew (YAY!). umm..the listening was definately better than my last, but still tough. i couldn't make out some of them, probably cuz i was sitting totally at the wrong spot. AH!! i couldn't really hear the music, and the sound system in the T.A wasn't all that good. and to top it off, i had a serious headache all through the exam because i was so tired and i've been working so much. ARGH! anywyas, i know i can do better if i had more time. even though it was already 3 hours long. but still!! i need tiiiiime!!! anyways, after my exam, i got my paper back. AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! ok i dont want to talk about that. i am PISSED. not even fucking kidding.

anyways, this post is starting to get long so i will now post general points about my studying extravagenza from the past week:
- cappachino and mocha two days in a row...wow... you know i'm desperate when i buy caffinated drinks two days in a row just becuase i want to stay awake.
- lots of tears.....lots of STRESS. lots of....crying over textbooks.
- all i have to say, i have NEVER studied SO hard for an exam before. it was fucking INTENSE!!
- very little sleep, many hours in the library, lots of line paper and index cards and being stuck in the 15th, 16th, and 17th centuries.
- renaissance and baroque music stuck in my head. ALL DAY LONG....(see next point)

- lots of swearing....especially at Conrad Hall

friday- came out on greyhound. 6:30 ish frances paul and chris came over, went to KBBQ. drove frances home. me and paul went to aci to see drama play. did not understand! saw matty and marky and margy and lummy and...kevin. lol dammit. no rhyme! and met new strings teacher. Mandy!! hahaha YAY! after play, emilia showed u outta nowhere. drove ppl to bowling, after driving paul home. stayed at bowling for about 20 minutes. had to leave. had to drive emilia home. mandy and matty are pissed off. decided that it was totally out of way if i dropped emilia off first then matt. so matt got out of the car, and walked back to bowling. i was pissed off. did not really want to drive emilia. she didn't want to take cab becuz it was expensive. grrrrrrrrrrr....went home, went to bed.
saturday- went to art class. fun! bought a new violin case while i was there. great timing cuz new shipping of violin cases from Korea came! preeetty! i got a burgundy one. can wear it like a backpack! YAY! went home. mom yelled at me for failing psych. blahblahblah. mad for the whole day. stupid mother. read some history about women in music in 15thC. went to dentist. grocery shopping (my mom. i stayed in the car) went home. worked on MacStupidAWasteOfMyTime. went out to dinner with family, Bernard, Eugene and family. came home. called Matt.
Sunday- woke up cleaned room (it's actually cleaner now) vacuumed. packed bag, dad drove me back to school. got there at 2:30. dropped off stuff, went to exchange violin cases, bought dad a coffee, he went home. i went to choir concert. it was so beautiful! i cried during locust Iste and this other song. Locus Iste was soooooo good!! brought back memories too. *tear* tracy came over for dinner. helped me with MadStupid... went home. i went over to Conrad Hall. Francine, who invited me, left with Amy to practise rooms. i watched Interview With A Vampire with Shannon. it was so good! now i have to watch the whole thing! went home. worked on some skills. called matty.
Today: the minute i woke up and saw light, i saw BLIZZARD. crazy snowing!
HOLY FUCK! its WHITE outside at the moment, cuz it's snowing SOOOO much! all i see are silhouettes of tree branches and a rooftop. daaammmnnn...anyways, it's been snowing like tihs the WHOLE day. well it's snowing even more now than when i first got up. CRAZY!!!!! Skills exam was hard. esp. terms nad leody. fuuuuuuck. i think i did okay on the two part melody though. not the one part. i kinda messed up on the rhythm too. ah whatever. damn. i do NOT want to go back out later. at least i won't have orchestra tonight. should i stay and practise? i think i should. lesson tomorrow. ack!
