just got back from Jon's. omg, it was soooo much fun!!
ok well, let me start from the beginning:
Me, Carmen and Jordan went to Midtown for lunch, sooo full. hee hee...and then Carmen and i went to my house. we chilled there, looking at pics and talking and Carmen played with my little spider toy. hee hee and then at 3, we decided to head over to Jon's. (haha it started at 1, but...meh!) so we get there...see all these ppl. some were watching Minority Report, some were playing checkers, or...whatever they were, some in thye basement playing those Magic cards. and so Carmen and i turned on the tv in the basement and started watching "Lofty Ideas". a while later we started a game of Mah Jong, and i taught Carmen how to play and stuff. it was fun! and then after a couple of rounds, they wanted to sing kareoke, and i'm like, okay, if Jackie sings, i'm going up, cuz i wanna hear him sing. so finally we abandoned the game and all went upstaires to sing. but then all the songs were Chinese, so it was mostly Jackie, Lydia, Gavin (whom i haven't seen since...Ryan's party), umm..oh, Pat, Christine, and these other ppl i met, Philip and...Andy, i think his name was. anyway! yeah...i knew some of those songs cuz they're really old and stuff. hee hee...and then carmen got picked up by jordan cuz we was bored, and carmen had to eat dinner with these other ppl. so then i got a drive back home, brought some money (cuz we were going to dinner) and then walked back to Jon's house. hung out a bit more, then went to that Korean barbeque place for dinner. lol we were so loud. at one point, Gavin was like, "so is there something with you and patrick..?" and i was like "no!" and he was like " really...? i saw a spark there.." and then...yeah. i convinced him that i did not like pat cuz i liked this other dude (y'all know who that is. hee hee) and so the subject was dropped. and then, The Conversation started. well, it started with Lydia asking me if i knew *that person* and i'm like...who?! "*that person*!!" she said...and then i had to think for a while, cuz i know so many people with that name, and then finally i knew who she was talking about, and so we started talking about *that person*. and then...it was so weird, cuz apparently, almost everyone there knew about *that person* so...yeah. i felt kinda bad cuz we were aaallll talking about *that person*...but...meh. anyways, then Pat and i got into our own convo about...*this other person* and he gave me some great advice. well...Nique gave me the best advice last night, and he agreed with Nique. and hahah Gavin was all left out cuz he's the only one who doesn't go to ACI. hee hee! and then after a looong time, we finally paid and headed back to Jon's house, where most of us sang more K, and the rest, who didn't really know Chinese (Omid, Ryan (who does, but i dunno why he wasn't there), Shawn, Jon, i dunno who else) were in the basement playing nintendo (pffft!) but yeah...i was in the singing room, and even tho i didn't know how to sing or anything, i knew a couple of those songs, and i knew some of the ppl, and it was so much fun. i can feel the love in that room! (no, seriously...hahah) esp. when it was a song that just about everyone (including me) knew, and they were all singing. *tear* i was sitting with Dorothy and Gavin, and Dorothy and i both didn't know chinese, so were just listening, but gavin knew a lot, and he was singing so loudly. Dorothy kept telling him to shut up. haha it was funnay! hahh now i'm a bit inspired to learn more chinese.
*pause*
naaahhh...lol!

anyways, when we finally left, i was planning on walking home, but ryan had room in his car, so he gave me a ride. yaaayyy! i get nervous walking at night by myself.
and that's the end of my oh so wonderful day.

P.S. i screwed up on my band exam. but oh well.

wow...my brother finally burned me that cd i wanted! and now i'm listening to it, and ahhhhhhh....it's sooooo niiiiceeee... i love Chinese classical music... *drifting away smiling like an idiot*

did i tell u that i have the entire score of The Butterfly Lovers Concerto? (aka. Liang Shan Bo & Zhu Ying Tai) i'm trying to learn the solo part. it's really hard. but i'm workin on it. hee hee

so i hung out at school today cuz i didn't wanna be stuck at home again. especially with my brother. i planned a nice quiet morning reading, but when i got to school i saw jackie kamla and margaret, and so i just hung out with them. tracy and i had a nice talk too, at one point, after she finished practicing her band stuff. i miss talking to her. heheh i remember in Montreal, we stayed up til like 4am talking. but like all my Chinesey friends (minus Carmen) i feel so bad talking to them for long, cuz then they would kinda start speaking to me in Chinese, but i would always reply in English. but i understood them and all. oh well. i still miss talking to them. well, when spring comes, and the tennis starts, moo ha ha! yay for chinese ppl and tennis! oh..and omid. lol! oh, and henry holland too. hahah they're so jokes. i can't wait til spring!
anyways, back today...so after a while margaret and kamla left for stc, and i had to stay cuz my mom won't let me take the bus home myself. (she was like 'oh, i don't know what ur doing and blah blah blah...') so i hung out with matt and jen and ben. i seriously don't remember what we did other than sit on the bench. time went by so fast. oh...Christine came by at one point, and...yeah. at 2, we walked matt to his exam room, and it was funny cuz the room was so empty. anyways, so ben, jen and i walked back downstaires, and jen finally got her bio text book, and we sat on the benches and listened to jen talk about bio. i showed them the scary picture of the albino dude, and we then proceeded to have a cool convo about albino people. and then adam came by and we started talking about...drag queens and gay people downtown. (how did that happen?)and then a convo about chinese people (ben would make a good fob), and then that led to jordan crawford speaking chinese to me, and that led to mixed people. heheh it was quite interesting. i think mixed people are so pretty. take Cassia for example. she's growing up too cute! anyways, then i had to go home. and...the rest is boring. it's weird cuz i don't like staying home by myself, but i rather stay home by myself than to stay home with my family in the house as well. it's just really annoying. Kamla was telling me today that she's counting down the days til she's out, and that is totally what i'm doing too. countin' down the days...*sigh* well..first i'm countin down the days til the HP book comes out, but it's at around the same time...end of school...u know. yeah.

aaanyways...yay tomorrow's Jon's party! can't wait can't wait!! finally something to do other than sit at home!!

u know what. i'm a pretty good actor. i should go into theater. hmmm...

what's with everyone and thinking these days? it just gets u depressed. becuz all u think about is negative stuff. gawd..it's not going well at all. has anyone called the Kids Help Phone line before? or maybe it's all in my head.

i actually tried to stay away from my computer today. it kinda worked. i read a lot. White Oleander. and it's not even my ISU book. but it's a good book. omg i have so many half read books, it's not even funny. The Mists of Avalon, Mistress of Avalon, Back When We Were Grownups, and The English Patient. The Avalon ones are really long, so i got impatient. lol meh. and i'm trying to get myself to finish reading The English Patient before watching the movie. i heard it's a good movie though...i wanna see it! *sigh* i need to control myself...no watching the movie...(i have the video, so it's like, right there!)
mmm...*yawn* okay...back to more reading...

anyways, i'm tired of thinking up what to write for my Waterloo application thing. and Witness just popped into my head. and now i'm singing about Nicodemus. lol

oh Gawd...i just kinda peeled off the tape on the other side of my incision just too see, and it's even nastier than the first side! the string is actually stuck to the tape so i can't even peel off the whole thing. bleugh... gotta show Carmen to gross her out. MOO HA HA!!!!
anyways, i need to tell my mom about "Kate's sleepover" soon...heheh maybe on thursday...does Kate know about this? lol i need to tell her soon.

i went on the internet for a reason...but i don't remember what it was anymore, so now i'm blogging.
um...so...hello! omg, i just found out (this afternoon) that that questionnaire paper thingy for Waterloo is supposed to be mailed in two weeks after you recieved it. whoops. i think i've had it for more than two weeks already. like, three, maybe. meh well.
and i just realized that i didn't get a letter from Ryerson telling me that they got my application. hmmmmmm...

so anyway, i was supposed to arrive at school early to practice for band, but when i got to school at 9:15, there was NO ONE in any of the music rooms. MR2 was dark and MR1 was empty. so i looked around for Jon and he was playing cards with Adrian, so i went over to them and hung out a bit, and then we saw these two little gr.9 kids going in the band room, so we followed them, and yea, we practiced a bit, and i got Jon to play English Folk Song for me, cuz i just love the bass part. um...and then when i stopped playing, the gr.9 kids took my mallets and started playing my piece. lol. stupid kids. and then we stopped playing cuz it was too early in the morning to practice, and..yeah. so i hung out with Adrian and Tracy and Jon for a bit, and then went over to Mike Kamla and Jackie cuz they were studying for philosophy. i didn't really practice anymore, cuz it was really boring. Mike was being all Frenchy again, and he was quoting M. Rochon "Hokay!" and he was like, oh if i were doing the math exam, i wouldn't know anything, and i would just write "les maths sont (fun? i dunno..it's french) eh?!" lol umm...yeah. anyways...that was funny. he had the accent going on too. lol
and then they left for their exam, and i just hung out with Matt. it was...ummm...FUN! (lol) no, it was actually pretty fun, besides the fact that i was really tired. anyways, after two hours, we walked to the lockers and joined mike and kamla and jackie, and talked a bit about their oh-so wonderful exam, and then went home.

aaanyways, uhhh...okay i'm done.

ok i found out my problem. it was becuz that site doesn't work anymore. i have to go to a different site. pfffft!! all these websites. i swear, all they want us to be is confused. lol!

anyway, i just read Carmen's blog, and hmm...dinner? why wasn't i invited, missy? *glare*

after reading a couple blogs and got some thinking done, i decided to delete my last post, cuz i have worse things to dwell on right now. and i really don't want to log on my blog everytime and read that post, cuz it'll just remind me of...well...stuff i don't want to be reminded of.
anyway!! i've done nothing today. went out to lunch, that's basically it. i read a lot of HP news, and that was the highlight of my day. and here's what i found out:
- Gary Oldman is (probably, most likely) gonna play Sirius Black
- David Thewlis is gonna play Prof. Lupin
- Pam Ferris (that fat woman from Matilda) is gonna play Aunt Marge (she's the perfect Aunt Marge, i'm tellin' ya!)
- Jim Tavare is gonna play that bartender from The Leaky Cauldron
- the second DVD is coming out April 11th
- some people friggin made ecstasy pills with HP pics on them so that they would target kids. this is disgusting.
- Dobby's probably getting sued (how? he's a friggin image on a computer!) cuz apparently he looks like this Russian poltics dude....umm...oh, it's the president. haha

and i was reading this thing where all the mistakes were in the book, and some of them were pretty funny! one them was, okay, in the 4th book, on page 229 when Fred and George tries to compete in the tournament, and Dumbledore says "Madam Pomfrey is tending to Miss Fawcett of Ravenclaw" but on page 371, at the Yule ball, Snape says "10 points from Hufflepuff, Miss Fawcett!" hee hee...but then there is a possibility that Miss Fawcett has a sister or cousin in either of the houses, so...i dunno. i don't think so though.

ok enough with HP.
i was talking to Jon, and he's gonna go practice his band exam tomorrow, and he was like "wanna come?" and since i've got nothing better to do, i'll go. i waaaas gonna go on wednesday, but...meh. i don't care. and since Gabe did his exam already, i don't think he'll be able to help me with the snare piece. booo...oh well.

omg, i was talking with Yuen yesterday, and i found out that she reads my blog! haha that's cooool. Hi YUENSY!
hmmmm...what else? i was watching the Australian Open a while ago, and Andy Roddick was playing again. and i've noticed that even tho he's pretty hot, he's quite a terrible player. i don't like him anymore. he sucks!! last time i saw him play, i was like, okay you're not that good, but i'll cheer for ya anyways. but now...too bad. two weeks (or maybe less..i don't remember) i was watching Andre Agassi play this other dude, and OMF, he is awesome!! his serves and everything are so fast, it's like, whoosh!! i was just like "omg!!" and then today i watched Roddick play, and it was slooooow. paahhh...and he SUCKED! his backhand had no power, and obviously, the opponent, some dude from Germany (haha! Germany...hahahah!! if u don't get this joke, it's alright. but for those who do, HAHAH!!) could tell, and he kept giving Roddick backhands. heh heh...good job German dude!

hee hee...i want to play Armenian Dances again. it was fun! i get to use 3 mallets at one point! fun fun fun!! *giggle*
ok..umm...i have no life, so i'm gonna go to AA and fix my ugly page and read what Debra wrote in my gb. ta-ta!

today was actually quite a good day. i got to school at around 9:20, practised Armenian Dances (the bells one), and it was not as hard as i thought. i've got it down pretty good now. there's just 2 bars that keep messing me up, but other than that, it's pretty good. English Folk Song, on the other hand, nearly killed me! (well...not literally) i couldn't play past the first...5 or so lines. too hard! and Mr. Pinhorn told me to stop cuz it was so loud, and he was testing ppl in the midi room. so anyway...at 5 minutes to 11, i decided to go up to the english hall to meet the chem ppl who are coming out from their exam, and apparently, the chem exam was really really hard. and then kate and nique went home, and carmen got a ride, and i drove paulanne home, cuz...well, it was fun! and then i came back. after that i went out to lunch with my parents, and came back (again) at 1:10. i practised a bit more, then proceeded to look for Mike cuz i knew he had a Society exam. i didn't have to go far, him and Kamla and Margaret and Jordan were all at the benches studying. so i hung out with them til their exam, saw them off to the class, and then went back to the Music office, where i hung out with Strahan. he was telling me to come to the next TYWO concert, on feb.23rd. (i think?) and then..oh, Mr. Pinhorn came in, and i told him that my brother told me that Mrs. Houghton told them the story about Mr. Pinhorn and his TV career when he was a kid, and how he couldn't keep it when he grew up cuz his vioce changed. hahaha! and i was like "well, my brother told me it was supposed to be a secret" and Mr. Pinhorn was like "yeah, a very big secret! so big that she told it publicly to her 5 band classes!" or somethin like that...hee hee. and then Mr.Lum came in, and he mocked me, and Mr.Pinhorn yelled at him. ha sucker. and apparently, Mrs. Houghton told Lum also. hahah too funny!

anyway, today is friday! omg, i'm gonna be soooo bored at home. (i'm at the office right now) my parents are gonna be out with these parents of the ppl who go to orchestra, eating and partying. and my brother has orchestra. paaahhh...and i don't even get the car so i can go some place. what to do? what to do?

hahah so i had my calc and phys. exams today, and omg...they were hard!
okay calc: logs, first principles, and equation finding were all really hard, and complicated. after the exam, i was like "wow, i feel like i've wasted so much time and paper on review, and it wasn't even on the exam!" and Jordan agreed with me. he did so much more review than i, and now look. *sigh*
and phys: well...all i have to say is, i'm pretty screwed with all the problem solving stuff. but...meh. as long as i get higher than what i'm getting in class, it's alright.

now i'm worried about band. (i don't think i have to take the art one, cuz mr. remigio talked to me about it, and he says it's okay if i don't take it) ok, i have to play the friggin bells part for Armenian Dances. the band has only played it like two times together, and it's the BELLS!! grrr...i do not play bells. and i have to play the snare for English Folk Song, which is complicated as well. and i have never played either part, so i will like, have to learn it from scratch.

aaanyways, after the physics exam, i hung out with Matt a bit, and then went to the music office, cuz cool ppl hang out there. hahaha well, cool music ppl. anyways, yeah, it was fun. i got to play with Pete the Penguin, this little penguin toy Mr. Lum got in Montreal last year. pahh...i want one. lol he actually told me to get one when we were in Montreal, so that we could have a conversation (hahah) but at that time, i was like "nooo..." and now i want one. Lum was like "then go to Montreal!!" hee hee

anyways, so then i left, hung out with Matt and the (increasingly annoying) bunch of gr.11s. and then we went home at about 4:45, and yeah..i forgot my keys, so i was locked outta my house. so i shovelled snow a bit, in hopes that my brother would come home soon, but that didn't happen, so i walked all the way to that little plaza on Havenview to the pay phones (which took, i'm guessing, 12 minutes, cuz it was so cold), and when i got there, i was so cold, my legs and face were numb. i made one phone call, which didn't even work, and then decided that it was just TOO cold, so i went across the street to Tim Hortons to warm up with a cup of cappuchino. about 15 minutes later, i went back outside with the capp. (so i can warm myself with it) and walked back to the pay phone, spilled the friggin capp. called many times to various phone numbers (my parents' cell phones and my house) and none of them worked, and then i got really cold again, and went back to Tim's and got another capp. and about 25 minutes later (after finishing the drink, and warming myself up with that heater blowing thing in the bathroom) i went back outside to call, and after about 3 calls (all with the same quarter) i managed to get a hold of my mother, who was at home, and she came to pick me up. and then she started lecturing me about dressing warmly and all that crap about taking care of myself.
aaanyways, my incision is like hurting quite a lot now, cuz my muscles have been contracting so much (from the cold) and i have stretched it a little, when i slipped on some ice. and..owww...

blehhh...anywayZ (lol) i have nothing else to post. so ttfn!

i know i'm on the computer. i know i have an exam tomorrow.
but for god sakes, i just came back from Kate's, and my brain is sooo filled with math, it's ridiculous. and i'm tiiiiiired. the last like, 15 minutes, Jordan and i just fell asleep on Kate's bed. i'm pretty sure Jordan was really asleep. i was this close to actually falling asleep too, but then the Bandages song came on, and i woke up. hee hee
tonight was also the turning point in my life. i have aquired a liking for cimmanon hearts. (lol). i swear...i have eaten more cinnamon hearts tonight than i have ever had in my whole life. damn peter and jordan...they got me into eating them. lol (just kidding...i still love you) ummm...what else? oh! nique's birthday party's on the friday after exams! whoo hoo! two parties in a row! yeah bebeh! hahaha! this time, i'm gonna try to convince my parents to let me sleep over. and if i do, i'm claiming the floor, on the carpet, right under the small couch! (since all the couches are apparently taken. i don't wanna sleep in a ball.)

anyway, so i just got home, right? and Audrey sent us a letter! it's kinda like the emails i send to all those people, but just waaaaaay longer and it's about their whole past year. (they send one out annually), and now i'm reading it. they also sent us a photo, and my goodness, Cassia is so much older now! awwwwwww...and too cute! and she actually looks more asian. my mom thinks she looked very jewish when..the last time we saw her. (she's half jewish) so..hahaha

anyway...blahhh...back to more studying...gooood byyyyeee...

i've been doing calculus review for 3 HOURS!! paaahhh...so tired...and im still not done. arg...that's how slow i work. anyways...i dunno what to post, cuz my brain is all filled with derivatives and factoring right now.

wow, my cheeks are really hot right now. that means i've worked really hard. cuz that's what happens when i'm concentrating for a long time and stuff. they turn all hot and pink. lol last night, my mom was like, "are u wearing make up?" and i'm like "no..." hehheh
