anyways...today was a pretty good day considering *u-know-what* happened on the weekend. umm... i'm relieved but at the same time i have this odd feeling. mehh...

so anyways, in band, the other percussionists actually showed up! wow...we have so many percussionists now... our cleanup was fast. tee hee. and mr. lum was saying how for Armenian Dances, i played well today! yippee!
oh, but then in choir we got these 2 new songs, and i really hate one of them, cuz we way we learned it sucked, and Julie was sitting next to me and she was singing so friggin loud. it was good singing, but it was loud. she was showing off. so that got me REALLY pissed off. and on top of that i was having mood swings and i felt horrible already, so...yeah. i just couldn't take it anymore, i was like, overwhelmed, so i left. Mr. Pinhorn knew that something was wrong, obviously, so he was just like "do u have to go?" and i'm like "yeah." i was literally THIS close to tears. Matt was sitting outside the Aud playing bass, and i didn't even say hello, i just raced to my locker. *sigh* so...yeah...after that, i hung out with Frances and Gabe and Matt and Paul, and i felt soooooo much better. like, seriously. i love Frances, she's so cute.

**News of the day** (for yesterday) when i got home from violin yesterday i checked the mail, and i got this package from Ryerson. so i was thinking, hmm...i hope it's not one of those letters where they say "we have recieved your application" or whatever and give you a million brocheres. and so i got in the house and opened it, and guess what it was?? a conditional offer!!! YEAH BABY!!! omg, i seriously thought no one would ever accept me. especially this year with the double cohort and all (and my crappy grades). but yay for Ryerson!!! and Ryerson is good for 2 reasons: 1) it's a program i actually really like and 2) it's not York, so i won't have to use my backup plan. *grin*
now only if Windsor accepts me as well...
lol...just kidding. i know it's gonna be way harder to get into Windsor cuz of my crappy violin playing. but it's worth a try.

anyways...not much went on today.math was unusually quiet.. i painted the mousetrap car. it looks pretty bad. if only i had more time...but not complaining cuz sweet ol' matt (hoskins) is doing most of the work. hmm... what else?
oh yea...gotta do my english journals. arg... too much work. ah well.

what a good day i had today! (well... except orchestra. and physics.) lunch was the best cuz i actually got to hang out with my azn friends. (not that Carmen isn't azn...she wasn't there) well anyways, lili shawn brian and i were just talking about universities and stuff, and i found out that both lil and mar applied to friggin harvard and princeton! holy heart of mary... and they got soooo good on their SATs, so they'll probably get accepted. well, maryam for sure. *sigh* i'm so jealous of their genius-ness. anywhoo... yeah i had a really good time at lunch. i miss my genius friends who motivate me. hahaha and i dissed omid up sooo bad! it was hilarious!! oh my gawd... i'm still laughing at my wonderful insult i threw at him. lol it was the perfect moment for it too.

anyways, i did my solo for strings class, and it sucked, but now i know what i have to work on for my audition. everything. lol oh, and the fire alarm rocked, cuz it wasted some of the DEAR time, and i got to talk with nique. i haven't really done that in a while.
and mr.pinhorn gave me 10$ for my 30Hr Famine thingy! yaayyy!! but then he didn't pay me yet. but still. i've almost achieved 25% of my goal! If anyone is willing to give me some moonay, plz do...i'm gonna starve for little kids in africa! (and china.. and south america... and wherever else.) ummm... i'll need about 300$ more....lol

Armenian Dances part 2 sounds cool... i'm listening to it now. but i like part 1 better...

anyway, i killed myself last night working on English ISU, and i presented today. whew. it went pretty well, considering i only took one night to prepare it, and my whole talking part was improvised. even tho i didn't actually read my book from cover to cover, i knew basically what was going on, so it looked pretty natural. anyway, and i said "like" a lot during my presentation. geez... i'm such a valley girl. haha
and physics sucked. i rolled a pretty good number, but i forgot all about tension, so im pretty sure i failed that quiz. meh! at least i'm doooone!!
the only thing i have to worry about now are my auditions next week. i'm sooo not ready. argg...

well, anyway, yesterday i found out that we had to do 4 journals, not three, and how much have i done so far? 1. and apparently, thanks to my dear friend Christine, i'm presenting my ISU project on Monday. 4th too. hahaha i have no idea what to do.
yay for me. i also have to catch up on physics, tech and math.

I know people mean well, but the most annoying things people have said to me the past two days were "You're back!" and "How was China?" and "I saw you on TV!"
arggg... yes i know already. geez.

anyway, back to good ol' english.

i got home this morning at like 2:30 am, couldn't sleep. i slept at 4:30. hahah 3 hrs of sleep. was tired today tho. english test went okay. had an assembly. got to see matt. got pics developed during 2nd spare and then ended up taking the wrong bus back to school. it went all the way to stc, so i had to take the rt and then the bus back to school for goddamn orchestra. couldn't even go to the student rally downtown. well, it was raining so...i don't think i wanna lie on the ground pretending to be dead when it's raining.

well i got almost all my pics back. most of them are pretty good. except for the bad ones. lol. and the sleeping pics turned out okay. Benson, this little boy in my tour turned out the darkest in my sleeping pics. argg...
see, i can't use the flash or else they'll wake up, and we don't want that, do we now? heh heh... the best one, i have to admit, had to be Douglas'. it was perfect! well...just about anyway. the rest are kinda dark. but the weird thing is, my sleeping Nick pic disappeared. (dun dun dunnnn!!) i don't know where it is. ahh...

anyway, lots of work to do...stupid english...arggg...

lalala....i'm bored. i was planning on going on the comp for an hour, but i accidently wnet over time. so now i have to stay for another half hour to finish off my minutes. paahhh...
well, since i'm on i'll just give everyone a brief once-over of my trip.
it's really cool. i'm learning a lot. not learning as in, "this is a __. it does__" kind of thing. it's more like, self learning. since i'm seeing so much stuff, i understand their way of living (actually...no i don't. but im getting better) and...just appreciating the earth and also the cleaniness of Canada. never take toilets and clean hotels for granted. that's all i'm saying.
anyway... i got u a couple of rocks, carmen. the driver calls me the "rock girl" hahaha silly... the driver is pure jokes. he's so funny. i've got to know the ppl in my tour group pretty well too. some, a bit too well. but it's all good. they're very nice people (except for one. ugh) but anyways... tihs dude across from me just started talking to me. i have no idea who he is. he lives in China. he's like "you speak English so fast" and i'm like "well, i don't really know Chinese." and he's like "i don't know English." so it's all equal.

can u tell i'm trying to kill time? this guy in my tour, Ken, just added me to his icq list. muahha we're talking about that dude who just talked to me. Ken doesn't know any Chinese so he has no idea what we're talking about. hahaha

ok anyway...i have nothing else to type, and i don't wanna go overtime again, so...ta ta for now!

i don't think i'll be able to get any postcards. i haven't seen a single souvenier shop or anything like that in china. well, i could develope my pictures, put a stamp on it and mail it, but...i don't think i'm gonna develope my pictures here.

lunch was fun today. i told Omid about my dream last night where he died. what is with all these death dreams i'm getting? Shawn said death dreams are a good sign. i duuno.... we'll see. The dream where Omid died isn't as scary as the one where Patrick and Yutat died. that one was scary...whoo! Pat said he won't ever go on a bus in San Fransisco. hahaha i've yet to have dreams about Jackie. LOL!!
oh! and also, at lunch i had a good talk with Yvonne. i haven't talked to her since.... the last time i talked to her. haha. umm...well, it was serious talk, and we really haven't had those in a while. and then we started talking about prom. hee hee... i need to check out that store with that dress i wanted. grr...no tiiiime!! i wonder if our deal we made about dates is still in. it was so long ago...hahah it would be funny if it was. i wanna post something but there's really nothing to say. My life as of this moment is crap.
i just got this phone call from an uncle who's going to call some ppl in china for me, so i can meet them, but i haven't faxed him the intinerary, so he called and yelled at me. that goddam bastard. fuck... i'm so fucking mad at him now. and he's blaming me not faxing him, but did he give me his fax number at all? noo...
*sigh*
so now i'm just sitting here, and swearing at him in my head.

anywhoo...on a happier note, jon carmen and jordan came over on friday just to hang out. it was pretty fun. we had some cheesecake (with blueberries!) and watched Elimidate, which was a pretty crappy show, if u ask me. umm... our plans of watching the Josh Groban DVD didn't turn out becuz first of all, it was pretty late, and second, i wanted to wait for Pat, cuz i know how much Pat like JG. stupid cadets... ruining my plans...
and some indian dude called my house from this other country, and asked if he was calling Canada. lol. yes...yes, he was.

on thursday (27th) i went to this dinner thingy with the ppl i'm going to China with. it was pretty cool. i had to make a speech. oh my gawd... it was horrible. i hate public speaking. i guess when u choose to go on a trip like tihs, u'll have to sacrifice something...and then while i was listening to my parents talk to this man, the camera zoomed in on me, and i didn't notice. only when i turned my head to look around, i suddenly saw it. it was RIGHT THERE! i was like, "whoa!" cuz it startled me. i also had to give an interview in front of the camera. it wasn't as easy as it looked. the interviewer asked me the questions in chinese, and it was so formal, i had to concentrate so hard in order to understand what he was asking, and then i didn't know how to answer, and in what language. i combined both. haha it was nervewracking. well, i guess it's good practice. i hope that interview won't really be on tv. *cross fingers*
